WTT: [OH or LA] 98 GT Speed Series Team SPIN option + post #1
OK, I'm seriously considering getting rid of my bike. It's not even done yet (will be next week) but I have decided I want a single speed MTB set up for street...or something more durable for street.

My bike is a 98 Speed Series Team. Frame has a couple knicks here and there, but positively NO bends, brakes, cracks, rewelds. Drop outs are SPOTLESS. It's an XL, american BB, 1 1/8 head tube. The headtube, BB, seat tube, rear drop outs, and "brake bridge" are all CNC machined.

FORK- GT MUSCLE or YESS all aluminum
STEM- DRIVE w/ removable gyro tabs
BARS- TNT 4130's 8" rise, or REDLINE aluminum w/ removable cross bar.
HEADSET- aheadset SX1 or brand new WTB comp.
GRIPS- NOS AME, black.
CRANK- GT (Profile) 180, chrome.
SPROKET- GT aluminum 44t
BB- Profile hopup, red.
CHAIN- KMC Kool Lite
PEDALS- DRIVE magnesium
BRAKES- Shimano DX (Team issue)
SEAT POST- Aluminum GT w/ micro adjust.
SEAT- GT Speed Series embroidered with GT
PADS- ANSWER slim TT, and cross bar. No stem pad
WHEELS- SPIN carbon composite mags w/ GT AAPRO tires -or- Shimano DX hubs (cassette) with stainless butted spokes, red alloy nips, MAVIC X SUP rims with KENDA KINETICS tires. (new tires)

What I am looking for is a street bike. Something chromoly, but not super heavy. Looking for something complete, maybe with micro gearing. Must be in SUPER nice shape....frame must be original, factory paint, no dings, dents, cracks, re welds, breaks, or lots of scratches.... I'm super picky when it comes to the quality and appearance of my bikes.

I would consider selling my bike out right, and buying/building a street bike... PM me if you are interested.

Thanks.

ALL the bike needs to be perfect is decals. The SPIN's could use a new FW.
