hello, i was wonderin if there is anything bmx orientated that i could do for work experience that would actually get me somewhere, i live in sittingbourne kent,

has anybody done anything decent???

i would love something to do with a bmx magazine or website,

I recommend starting small, take some killer pics and send them to bmx mags... go work at a local bikeshop...

My mates worked at the house in sheff for theirs 5 year ago, skater fags.

Apply at local skate parks ^_^

Learn bike mechanics, it will bring you work at shops and bike factories. And around MTB races, BMX events and the like...
That's what I might plan to do in the future...

Graphic Design.
Bike Technician.
Welder/machinist.
Spokesperson.
Janitor (hey you can be the Janitor for FitBikes and thats still bmx related! you work for them).

Bike Mechanic at your local bike store is your best bet,
Don't even attempt halfords!

a person i know went to work in lbs and got some free parts out of them and a part-time job i think....
