I just sprayed my bars and forks, like this:

sanded with 100 grit,
1st coat of primer
Wait an hour, 2nd coat of primer
No wait time(it said to do this on the can),1st coat of color
A few minutes,2nd coat of color
a few minutes,3rd coat of color
wait 9 hours(tonight) laquer.

with that sequence will my bars and forks look professional, all i have to do now is wait till tonight and hit it with the clear coat, should i do two coats of clear coat or what?

also, how can i get this paint of my hands?

It'll be all dried tomarrow after school, so ill update my bike check then

Whats a painting thread without pics:

If you painted over the fork race, the bearings may not want to sit proper on it. Might want to put some tape over it before you go at it with the clear coat(that stuff is pretty thick).
