Hey there people i have a mongoose rogue i bought 6 months ago just wanting some suggestions for weight loss i have cut post bars etc. I am willing to change the frame to lighten it up. If you think that is a good solution please tell me a strong frame that is light and perfect in every imaginable way! :D otherwise tell me what to do i have a bit of money to burn like $350 Australian or more if need be i dont care about wasting money on bikes!
Thanks for your help (unless u dont give me any in which case you will die a horrible death)

yea those are the biggest things...
if you are a total light freak...get like lite sprockets and pegs, lighter bars (which sacrifies strength a lot of times)...but i don't recommend that.

wheels add a lot of theoretical weight because t is rotational weight.

the lighter the wheels/tyres are, the lighter the bike will feel when being ridden.

the wheels are a big weight contributer, spend maximum dollors on wheels to get quality, light gear.

Just get titanium everything, spindles, axles, spokes, seat post etc etc :D

No seriously, a new frame would be my choice - I was riding a Mongoose villain frame not too long ago and when I switched to my Sinister the difference was phenomonal - not just in weight, but in responsiveness and control too.
