looks nice, i'd suggest moving your bars so they're in line with your forks though, but cool bikes!!

I have my bars like that too! It's called "Old Chicago" style. Keeps your knees outta bars. It really isn't much more different to ride.:)

it makes the bars feel like complete shite to ride, if youre just starting you wont notice i guess. a little is fine but that much, jesus christ. try do a manual.

its nothing to do with height man, its widely accepted that bars should be in line with the forks/headtube. im pretty tall so i have a long frame and big bars, still in that same position.

kids bars look about right though.

Widely accepted? Based on what? Not arguing here, but what is the benefit? Control or possibly how the fork would absorb an impact? I gues what I'm asking is why is it recommended to have your bars inline vs. what may be comfortable?:?

its better as the impact goes straight down the fork meaning your bars wont slip plus it makes the steering rubbish and hard to control. im 6ft5 and i promise having your bars forward is doing nothihng for you if your tall

nice family bikes by the way mate

The closer your bar is to your clamp is much better for control, i'e. looking straight down at your bars, your grips should be as close in line to the stem. Mountainbikers swear by it, hence why they all ride really short stems now.

But, at the end of the day, its down to what feels most comfortable for the rider, so do what you want man.....
