i just use paint stripper take off all the paint then primer and paint
i have yet to find a good spray on clear that doesnt just turn milky
if you know of one feel free to tell me

Use 80 grit sanding pad. Put it on a drill and have at it. Cant get the creases of the tt and whatnot but you can clear the whole mainframe in about 45 mins and $5.

i use 600 grit and wet sand it.

I use a wire wheel on a drill. I normally get most of with Jet Strip, then get the thick stuff with the wheel. When done the frame is smooth and raw as you can get. Then prime, sand, prime, 1 coat color, sand, 1 coat color, sand, 1 coat color, sand(super fine grit), let dry 24hrs, clear, sand, clear, sand, clear.

^ perfect but i wouldn't sand just scuff.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I goofed 1 time and grabbed the 100 grit after 1 coat of clear...that was a long bad day:hihi:

i just pained some parts go check the bike check im ordering my parts tomorrow!!!!!!!!
