which way are you turning the pedal as both the pedals come off the same way because of the threads.. otherewise your pedasl will come off when you pedal...

is it the left pedal.. thats reverse threaded i think

I think the left is the reverse threaded one.

^ yes, it is. he says he's turning it the right way though. don't know about cutting the crank arm. the threads are probably ****ed. you could take the pedal body off and get a new spindle.

The pedals i use are £50 a pair and I don't want to damage them to much, How would I take the body off?

If they're £50 a pair, they're mostly likely sealed. get an allen key into the end cap, undo it and the body should slide straight off.

Which end? I have a end that needs a socket and one that needs a key which in the inside side (nearest the frame when cranks are on)

the end on the outside of the pedals. it might have a cap over the bolt.

be careful because if the pedals aren't sealed you'll have little bearings falling out all over the place.

if u take the pedal off its spindle the spindle will still be in the crank , use a pedal triangle to get it out , its the easiest way

^ uh, yeah. i think he got that. once you take the pedal body off you'll have a lot more leverage to get it out of the crank arm.
