Hey all,

I searched for other posts on this and didn't see anything.

I'm really tall -- 6'7" to be specific -- so I'm looking for a 26" cruiser... in the $600-$900 price range (wouldn't mind less, I suppose.)

People told me about the Volume Sledgehammer, but apparently the 2009s aren't available for a while. And the bike I really want, the MacNeil cruiser, isn't set to come out til spring. (I like the throwback '80s looks of it... see pic below)

Does anyone know of a 26" cruiser that's out right now? I'm in Brooklyn, would probably order the bike online or through Post Bikes.

Thanks...

Man I'd wait for that MacNeil 8). In the mean time for a couple hundred you can pick one of these up.http://www.beachbikes.net/index.php?p=product&id=191&parent=43&pro_detail=Y Not they style you're after but roomy for your tall body with it's stretched out frame. I have the Mammoth which is basically the same bike in a different color. They have a hard time keeping it in stock though :(. Really fun to ride.

Honestly I just decided to wait and try a few more bikes. The MacNeil is still my favorite cruiser by far, but a local shop also said that I shouldn't rule out getting a 20" just because of my height, that I could just get a bike with a really long top tube, like the MacNeil Deuce Deuce.

So I decided on indecision! :wink:

in the words of rush:
You can choose a ready guide in some celestial voice.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.
You can choose from phantom fears and kindness that can kill;
I will choose a path that's clear
I will choose freewill.

I shouldn't rule out getting a 20"
Are you gonna just cruise around or do tricks? 20=tricks, cruise=26.

A lot of riding around, but since it will be my only ride I want to be able to do tricks as well, feel me...
