I bought my burner for about £200 just recently. There are a lot of them going in skips still, I'd like to rescue them if I had some spraying gear.

Genuinely retro bikes definitly have a cruising feel to them.

I fitted mine out with neon glow cables in red and blue. I got some serious stick for owning it - it's fun though, so **** 'em

I traded the blue Burner in against the Super Tuff which got stolen & I bought a 2nd hand Super Burner which I used until I got a Skyway which also was eventually stolen, (I didn't even realise it for a couple of months as I had stopped riding then & was away in college most of the time), & I had a shop Aero Burner to race on when I was on the shop team.

You've not had much luck, at least you've had the pleasure of racing an aero ;)

I've decided to sell my kink and invest the money on another old school ride :)

I got my 83 USA made pre serial number Hutch Pro Racer frame and fork yesterday! its in brilliant condition, stickers are perfect too! Going to build it with the new retro hutch parts as soon as they're available. Read this for info:

Nice frame, so you're going to build a custom old school? You'll have to show us the pics when its complete.

Yea, what I want to do is:
chrome S+M slams, polished Hutch stem (retro or old)
chrome flight, profile cranks or new hutch aerospeeds
chrome hutch pedals - depending on price when they eventually are available. Or new Shimano DXR
Black sykway tuff II graphite mags
new hutch chrome post and new railed seat, probably S+M

Pics will come, but I expect this to take at least a year to complete

That's a dream build mate and worth taking your time over. The black Skyways are a must when you have a chrome frame imo, I hope to go for a similar build next myself but my budgets not so big so expect another burner from me  I'm still trying to decide on going for another survivor or building a custom old school :hmm:

Remember the Pro Burner: Araya rims and Weinmann brakes? They were stunning.
