...how do the two gearings compare?? Ive been riding 28/10 for a while, but now am thinking about alternating to 25/9 for my other bike I'm building up.. so now I wanna know how they differ, in terms of which is harder to pedal with (have to put more effort into), and which has higher top speed. ThanXXX.

28/10 feels way better to me, slightly harder ratio (more speed) but more important it's way smoother, I recently switch back from 25/9 to 28/10 and I will definitely not go back!

They feel kinda the same, i just prefer 28-10. It feels better to me slightly. My 25-9 kept skipping and slipping (that may have been the sprocket not the gearing), but i will stay with 28-10 for now.

a few grams different. if you claim you can feel that weight difference, you're either very weak or lying.

They are actually not the same gear ratio! 28/10 is 2.8, 25/9 is 2.78 and at least I can feel the difference (might be the smoothness of 28/10 compared to 25/9)

unless you ride one for a long time and switch you cant tell the difference. and to be honest its hard to tell, 28-10 being slightly harder. but heres the thing, the breakdown on any ratio is the larger over the smaller, yes an actual use for math. so 28/10 is 2.8, ect. but meh, its all preference anyways.
