I already own a pair of chrome 48h rims double wall (great condition) and I am looking to buy a freecoaster. Should I just buy a single wall 36h rim to go with it? Would there be a worthwhile weight change?

It does save a SMALL amount of weight, but in theory the 48 should be stiffer. A 36 may flex a bit. Not sure, I like having a 48 in the back, but 36's seem to be all the rage these days. I know, that helps tons.

it wouldnt be that big or a weight diff its only 12 diff and thats not that much and teh 48 would hold up better then the 36 idk it all depends on if your willing to take teh risk of heavier and stronger or lighter and weeker
