[Review] KHE Foldable Street Tires

Aren't they hot? I know.

I've had these tires for about 4 month now, and all I can say it "wow". There has been a lot of hype about these tyres, there are some haters on this tire, but thats their own fault, because they got the park
or the flatland tyre which has really thin sidewalls, and its those people who get all the flats.

In all the time I've had these I haven't had a single flat tyre with them !!!

Well, I have but that's to due broken spokes that punctured the tube from the inside, which was 100% not the tires fault.

Enough of that, I've said it. If you like to have flats take the park tyres or the flatland. If you hate flats and wont have em. get the Street tire and pump em to the MAX! 120 PSI/80 Bar!

This is how they look on my bike

They are sweet.

And their grip is just endless its amazing it just keep on gripping.
and the biggest hype about em... Light!

• Flatland version: 300g, 40mm width (1.7).
• Park version: 329g for 2.10 (1.90 or 2.1 size).
• Street version (with stronger sidewall): 424g, 55mm width (2.1).
• All have a max. psi of 120lbs.

And is Kevlar beaded. Which means high pressure keeping the shape.

But.. They aren't cheap £23/$40 for 1 tire. But its all worth it.

-----------------------------------------------------

Pros
-High Pressure
-Grip
-No flats
-less rotation mass
-look hot
-hold up to alot of beating

Cons
-Pricey
-Not so big a pattern,But still grips like hell
-The 2.1 version of the tire is bigger then other 2.1 tires ( who cares )

9/10 I love them.

Get them kids !

I've Mac 1.5 street version, it sucks because it's not as wide as 1.9" tires, but it's light as hell.

Yes, thanks for the song.

Mac 1=1.75"
Mac 1.5=1.85"
Mac 2=2.2"

WTF is all I can say. Why don't they make 1.8", 1.9" and 2.1" like most companies?

just get some fly rubens? half the price, right around the same weight and better grip.

^haha funny.

my 1.9 street measures up perfect and my 2.1 park pumped up a lot measures to about 2.15 or so. so for me, they measure about perfectly. i was hoping they would be bigger than measured tho =\\. for some people, their tires are huge, which i was looking for.

ive only had one flat cus they werent fully pumped and i smashed my rear end on a bit sharp corner.

really good tires but i wish they made monstertruck sized options =D

these tires are on the way for me.

just make sure to run these reallllllly rock hard.

for me they slider out of fakies REALLY smoothely and are great traction for street riding.

but i think theyre too pricey for me to get again.

I bought these a week ago, pumped to 100PSI in each and I have not noticed a difference in rotational weight. I got Park 1.9 for back and 2.1 for front, Ive had 4 punctures in a week in my back tyre and had to order a p-lyte path tyre because I was getting fed up of travelling and getting random blow outs. My front KHE is perfect I love it but for the rear they suck so bad! Maybe is because I was riding a 1.9? Who knows!

Good Luck

I had the same problem with mine. You should install your tube properly. Does your tube explode or do you just get a flat. If you get flats: LEARN TO LOOK OUT FOR GLASS!

ive had these tires for maybe a little more then a month, and ive only had one flat. ive even pulled out a staple from my front tire and everything was good.

and like last week i cased a gap and it sounded like i blew out some spokes or dented my rim, but everything was fine and the tire was still in one piece.

DO NOT GET THESE TIRES IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO INSTALL A TUBE PROPERLY OR IF YOU DON'T LOOK OUT FOR GLAS

these tires are great until they wear down..flats like crazy then..

i sold my new rear park and old street front for 25 bucks and a shadow belter and ody frequency g until my new ruben/aitken combo gets here
post #19 of 68
Do most people run front and back MAC2 because the MAC1.5 is skinny, or are most people running MAC2 front/MAC1.5 back like most other tires? I dont know what size rear to get!?!?!
i havent put them on yet. but i can tell there gonna make a huge difference.
