Dent in my frame!

I have no idea what I did, but I just figured out about it today. I have a dent right on the top tube. Is this going to have any really big affects on my frame's strength? One of my friends said that a lot of cracks start right here.

There? No, cracks start at the welds. That's close but probably not close enough to have a huge effect on the welds. However it will kill some of the strength in the frame. Looks like a sizeable dent though. Bail on a rail or something?

i got a dent on my toptube recently. lost my wits on a hop on to a narrow platform and just failed. landed on my ass and my frame landed on the platform. not sure how this is benificial to this thread but i felt like saying it.

Naw, I don't grind, so no idea how it happened, lol. My friend has a spare frame he's trading for an old stem I have so if this breaks any time soon I'm okay.

That should be rideable. Just keep checking to make sure there's no cracks around it all the time.
