eclat unit ain't fitting ,please help or ill crash :(  

hi all,

i have a problem,but not just any problem,a brake problem!

here is what is wrong :

my eclat unit bolts seem to be to fat to fit into the mounts of my pantera 2007,i think its a 2011 unit ,

does anybody know why it might not be fitting,i really like the eclat brake i have it in teal and the colours is sweet :) 

if it helps,i bought in in europe second hand (2 cables,caliper,lever,all eclat and some stickers for £18 ).

my idea was to either put a new bolt into the unit,mod it in some way  ?

or sell it and hope a fly bikes will fit cos its the same brand as my pantera :)

lol,some undetected sarcasm went into the world.sorry. i know brake cable has nothing to do with bolts .

so i got new brakes for my old 2007 fly frame,and the eclat bolts are to fat and dont go into the mounts :)

also im in the uk and i bought the eclat for 18 i dont fancy paying another 2 times that for some nice ti bolts,any cheap piece of shit will do,my daddy could probs make those bolts for cheaper(does cnc) but its too much effort .. anyone know any cheap bolts.

yes,i know i need a bolt,but what sort of bolt,size,type fit,how to fit it ?

my eclat is m8 and i need a m6,im probably gonna strip the bolt and try to rethread it as a m6 :)

for the first line : yes 8000 residents no real sk8 park or any places to ride apart from mtb trails 5 miles away :) (local hit !)

and now about the brakes ,nope i dont buy broken shit,and i definately dont brake and strip the parts myself,im gentle and my bikes live indoors. what has happened is the bolt is in the hexagonal thing connected to the spring,it isnt on the bike yet ,and i cant get it out to change it for a smaller bolt,i thought it was 1 pc but then i saw this :http://img.tredz.co.uk/prodimg/42425_1_Zoom.jpg

on there is are springs,bolts and hex things,i cant get the bolt out of the hex,i didnt try it for long but i got the impression it just turned inside the hex thing without actually going up.

okay im pretty sure the brake was like new when i bought it ....?

OKAY I GOT 2 MORE DAYS BEFORE I DECIDE TO MOD,when i grip the hex with a spanner and turn the allen key bolt ,it seems to spin and not move outwards maybe this is some help to the problem.
