So I got this '87 chrome moly RL 20 II that I have had sitting in my spare room in a corner for years. It has a couple problems that I have been meaning to fix but haven't had the time or money to do so. The main problem it the forks threading is stripped. I know you can have this fixed but I don't have any time for that anymore seeing as how I'm short on rent this next month.

Every where i look for this model and how much they run for I find refurbished bikes but my frame is all original with original decals so based on the problem and it being original I have absolutely no idea how much its worth. any one got an idea?

Those aren't the original decals, those forks are not the correct forks either. If the frame has no dents, cracks or damage I'd say it would be worth about £125 or so.

Thats not a 20II. It might be a 500sx if its even a redline. Those decals are off a later redline. The forks however may be from a 20II. The 87 RL 20 II had twin top tubes that wrapped around the headtube. Your bike looks more like a race bike than a freestyle bike which is why I think it may be a 500 sx. Chech the rear dropouts. If they flare out slightly at the bottom almost like a small wing it very well could be a 500 sx. Check Bmx museums website for further research including resale values.
