I'm thinking about buying a new 24" looptail Quadangle. I've wanted one forever, but was too expensive, even know at 40, I still have to save up. I was wondering, well, pretty much everything! I'm outta touch but want to be back up to speed so if ya"ll (I'm from New Orleans), could help me out with anything it would be great as I need reliable input. 24" as opposed to 26"? What are the differences? Who's king in the Cruiser field? Mods?...and so on, I hope this turns out to be a fun thread as I remember going on for days about bmx and everything about it in my time, thanks!

For the extremely low price of 30 bucks these bars are defiantly the best for the price. Ive had the matte black pair for a few months and they are pretty light and I havent had any problem with...

Welcome back to the land of the living.
What do you plan on using the quad for, to race or just cruise around? I recently built one up and absolutely love it for bombing around on. Pretty much every company makes cruisers these day but unless you are getting into a dirt jumping bike i think SE is the only company mass producing 26"ers. If you want a good price on a retro looptail quadhit up the Re-cyclery in Lawrence Kansas as they got a F/F, headset and seatpost clamp to me up in Northern BC Canada for 250.
I have since changed out the headset spacers to black and the seat post clamp to a retro TNT.

If you want to do tricks I'd recommend a Sunday 24", or something with similar geo. If you just want to go fast or commute then you have many more options

I'm totally new here (both forum and BMX), but I ride a DK Cygnus 24 and I love it. The only thing I don't love is the single wall rims and unsealed hubs that it came with, but at least they are fixable. Anyway, if I was going to buy something new I would be looking at a Sunday Wave-C. The problem is that they do not sell the Wave-C in a complete that I am aware of. Still a damn fine frame and worth building up from all that I can tell. Go check out http://www.cruiserrevolution.com for all kinds of cruiser goodness.
Oh yeah!? Well, my mom says I'm cool!
