Default [Review] Odyssey Dirt Path Tire OG (2.2)

Im having trouble remembering when I got this tire, but I think it was last summer sometime, or at least that long. So far Ive ridden street and park with it, and have no complaints. It says "Dirt" Path, but Ive ridden little to no dirt, maybe some stuff while I was riding street or something, but this tire works great for any kind of riding. Some people say that this tire is heavy, at 28.6 oz but to me it didnt matter, as Id rather have a tire thats gonna last than a stupid foldable tire you have to replace every 3 months. Odyssey has P-Lyte versions out now that are lighter if you so desire anyways.

It doesnt wear very fast, the sidewalls are fine and I did a fair bit of grinding on it. Ive ridden through some glass, stones, on wooden ramps with parts of nails sticking up, and have dont my fair share of footjams and learned footjam whips with this tire, and it always has gripped really well. In my picture you can see the middle part of the tread is wore pretty smooth but other than that it still grips good with my shoe and on all surfaces. Another good thing is that that seems like the only part thats wore at all was that middle part, and it wasnt very deep to begin with so really not much has wore down. This tire definitely has alot of life left and I will be running it quite awhile.

Specs: -28.6 oz, for 2.2 version
-Available in 2.2 or 1.85 versions
    -90 PSI

(NOTE: A P-Lyte version is now available if you desire a lighter version!)

    Pros: -Grippy, lasts forever, strong

    Cons: -On the heavier side

Summary: Great tire if you dont care about having a 21 lb bike.

Rating: I give this tire a 9/10, with 1 point off for the weight, though to most it doesnt matter, this tire is pretty heavy, though P-Lyte versions are now available anyways.

    Cost: About 16 USD

I like mine in front, it's not as knobby as I'd like, but it rolls fast, grips on EVERYTHING and is pretty tough, just a little heavy. But I'd rather have a tough tire then a KHE paper thin slice of rubber.

i think he meant you can use this tire as long as your not aiming for a 21 pound bike. 21 is super light.

i have the p-lyte version in the front in 2.2 and so far so good.
