[Review] Odyssey Race Classic after 17 months.

Now most reviews i see are after like 1 month, which is 100% not valid. There was an original review of this part that i found by Odysseus which was pretty much spot on; but he only had it for 2 months at the time.


-I bought these forks in Late July 2007.



I have never had a single problem with these forks.

Pros:
-light
-Butted and Tapered for high strength to weight ratio.
-very strong
-looks great?
-41 Thermal heat treatment
-Flush 7075 Preload bolt
-Rustproof finishing prior to powdercoating
-machined steerer tube
-fairly cheap
-lifetime warrenty
-they come with pretty stickers

cons:
-honestly none that I can think of.

OVERALL SCORE:
10/10

i give a perfect 10 because of these reasons; its very light and strong which is perfect for most. The lifetime warrenty is totally awesome and I have NEVER had a single problem with these.

Here's a con to add. The dropouts eventually develop cracks after a few years from peg use. It's a minor one though, as if you check your bike out periodically you'll notice it before anything actually fails. Then Odyssey will warranty it and send back Dirts. So it's all good.

Agreed had Classic race forks for a while, and i bought them secong hand, so they've been through alot of use, only thing gone wrong is the paint is all scratched.

after about 2 years of having mine they have cracked...i wasnt really upset cause 2 years is a long time for somethinng to last...but it cracked right on the welds holding the fork legs on
