Forum Rules
BMX-Forum.com aims to provide a fun, productive and interactive environment where both the experienced and the new can discuss.
Most of these things are common sense, but to enhance the quality of the discussion, we ask that you abide by the following guidelines when posting messages. This forum is for users of various age. Any violation of these guidelines may result in the member being warned or banned. The action that is taken will depend on the severity of the violation.
Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact a Staff member immediately by e-mail or private message. We have the ability and right to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, so please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately.
No video signatures are allowed at any time.
The Rules
1 Each forum member may have only one account.
2 We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message. The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of the owners of these forums.
3 Use a descriptive Topic Subject. This will help others find what they want to read.
4 Research your Post! Make sure you are not double posting. Search the forum first for questions that may have been answered before.
5 Post in the right forum! Help keep the forum organized and easy to read!
6 We do not allow registrations from anyone under the age of 13. If you are under 13 years old you are invited to read these forums as much as you want, however we are not able to offer you the right to post in the forums as that would involve asking you for information that violates United States law.
7 Do not use objectionable language.
8 Use proper English, text talk will not be tolerated.
9 The forum has no free advertising space, if you have a company or shop and want to advertise with us please click here for further information: http://www.bmx-forum.com/sendmessage.php
10 NO Spamming. No commercial posts or flooding the forum with useless content.
11 No Caps Lock. Please do not post messages with the subject or content all in capital letters, or your message will be deleted. Words all in capitals are not only annoying but are read 50% slower than normal writing.
12 No trolling. Don't make posts that are inflammatory.
13 Personal Attacks. Criticize ideas, not people. Flaming will not be tolerated. This includes any material which is vulgar, defamatory, harassing, hateful, threatening, or violates any laws. Please note that as bmx-forum is a diverse community, some users may not appreciate exclusive religious or idealogical threads
14 No ****ographic, ***ually offensive, ***ually explicit, or objectifying material. This includes suggestive images, graphics, links and comments. Private gambling, lotteries and raffles are illegal in some countries and thus not allowed on BMX-Forum.

To ensure that the forum guidelines are enforced, moderators have the ability to moderate or delete posts and threads. Moderators have the ability to ban users who do not comply with these guidelines. Moderators will leave a note if posts are edited and a private message will be sent to the user if a post is deleted.
17 Ensure that your Signature- Remains a reasonable size
- Signatures are expected to follow the same guidelines as posts.
- Emoticons
- Line breaks or ALL-CAPS;

- Giant fonts with ugly colours;
- Swearing or derogatory terms.

20 The listing of classifieds advertisements is restricted to members with 30 or more high quality posts, and 3 days membership, then and only then are you alowed to place advertisments in the classifieds sections. It is an offence to try and break this rule by advertising elsewhere on the forum.
21 Trolls and their associated with trolling will not be tolerated on this forum. A troll is a person who enters an established community such as an online discussion forum and intentionally tries to cause disruption, often in the form of posting messages that are inflammatory, insulting, or off-topic, with the intent of provoking a reaction from others.
22 BMX-Forum supports a reputation System where members can give other members reputation for their posts. ( more information: http://www.bmx-forum.com/showthread.php?t=57336). Although it does not happen often, some users ask other users to give them positive reputation. That's not how it works! Asking for reputation points will not only make you an unrespected person but will also cause negative reputation points.
23 The Webmaster is always right, if he is wrong, see Rule 23.
The Warning System
If you break any of the above rules then you will be issued with a warning or infringement notice through the intergrated warning system. For every warning or infringement submited you will recieve a number of points.- 5 warning points = Automatic ban
