Just for the hell of it, I drug (dragged?) it out of the shed. I forgot how old it was!! It is (was) a pro freestyle tour team complete.
I also have the original profile GT cranks (they are on my Standard).
Once again, I can't get the pics to work correctly.:x Anyway, here's the link.

Just researched the serial number, It's a 1995 (I couldn't remember what year I got it in!)

Nice! Mine is a 1995 also. The rims shown are the original Araya 7X with GT mohawk hubs, and the bars are original GT 4 peice, along with the original GT 1" stem. Maybe I should build it up like the original.

yeah i agree with that .after about a decade if you still got the factory put it either factory or do some cool a$$ mix and put nah your absolutely right put that thing factory. im trying to come up on a factory chrome 1992 diomandback assault right now but if im lucky enough to get it i will have to wait about 2 or 3 days.8)

I like old GT's. I had an 89 (?) Pro Freestyle Tour, also chrome. It might have been newer it had the double bend in the downtube, and the 990 mounts under the chainstays. I loved that bike. Great geometry for a flatland bike.
I fixed the link for you, but OMG that's a huge picture!

i have a 1984 something
well it has no mounts and the only stickers on it are one that says greg hills on the seattube and the original landing gear forks i think thts what they are ??
well i was given them when i first got into the sport and i built it up and rode it for about 6 months until i realized that it was old
it is chrome and the chrome is nearly perfect no dings dents or scratches
it is rust free too
might do a rebuild on it this summer
with oldskool parts

Thanks Justin. Yeah, the pics are huge! I have the resolution maxed on my camera, but I thought the hosting site would automatically make them smaller for web viewing. I guess I was wrong. ::oops:

Most sites do resize them, but I guess that one doesn't.
