I had a RC18T with brushless mamba, XXL reciever, 8.4 battery, JR radio, 1/10th wheels, few alloy parts, and a custom painted body, But sold it.

It wasnt that bad went like 40ish mph, for a 1/18th thats pretty good.

Ive done alot with rc cars. Ive had a t-maxx, savage, rc18t which was completly modded but got wreck at 58 mph :( and a m18. THen i quit cause it was sooo exspensive

i want a nitro buggy, but i dont have the time nor the money for it. There fun, but not that fun because, no matter what, you will ALWAYS break something EVERY TIME you run it. I ****ing guarantee you will. It sucks, but other than that they are DAMN fun!

I've been into RC stuff since i started Flying Rc Planes with my dad when i was 12. I've got a few planes, glow fuel (Nitro) and electric park flyers. But i'm really into RC cars.

Right now i have an Older HPI RS4 nitro, with an OS CV12 racing engine, RX-8 Body and drift tires. It's alot of damn fun in a parking lot.
I also have a Duratrax Nitro ST stadium truck. Completely switched the diff/tranny gears out to all metal. It's got an s-10 Stadium Truck body painted like the old Chevy Trophy Truck. Very fast, very fun.
I have an original RC-10 electric buggy from 1984 which i got from my dad. I've modernized it and it's still damn fast.
And last but not least my loyal old Traxxas Stampede. My first real RC car. It was the first year the stampede came out and Traxxas was still just starting out. It's got a Chevy Blazer body.

I have my old Tyco Aero Turbo Hopper sitting on a shelf in my room at my parents house. Anyone remember the Turbo Hoppers?

ive raced r/c cars for year i started when i was like 8 racing mini stocks. when i was like 12 started 1/10th saloon which i had a hpi pro 4 which cost a bomb then got a xxx-s losi was my county champion for 3 years in a row the xxx-s cost like £600 altogether...now in my garage f*cked. after that i had a few crappy nitro cars now i have a hyper 8 1/8th scale buggy with a 21 engine rb which cost £120 new chocks all round its a beast but havent drove it for a lil while as bmx has come into my life :) woo wooo

Old memories...

1st car was the all mighty Grasshopper in what like 80 something. But, moded it...it was cheap, but insanely fast.

2nd was a Blackfoot truck. Loved it, raced it with a lexan body. With slicks and forgot what engine...40mph...and I lifted it. I also had a truck pull sled...that was fun.

3rd and last was an RC10 that I spent wayyyyy to much money on.

My friend has a traxxas nitro truck. We take the truck to the skate park and launch the it off of a 6ft quarter going 40mph. I used to have a old touring car, but its gone now.

im about to pick up a 1/18th drifter, i get in and out of this hobby alot, but i wanna do some drifting I was looking into the HPI RS4 drifter RTR with the rx7 body, cause its got the D-box that helps with counter steer and all i read about and it sound pretty trick so i think im gonna sink some more money into this hobby.
