you see us English folk just don't get it
why do you need a truck that low? what does bagged mean? and why is wearing away the bottom of your car a good thing??
haha

haha a LOT of people dont get it so its cool. you NEED a truck this low but its jsut something to keep me out of trouble and its fun as hell. bagged means that i have a pneumatic system that uses double-convoluted air-springs at all 4 corners of the truck that raise and lower the truck by use of switches inside the cab.
MINI TRUCKS RULE!!! im saving up for a mazda 2600 so i can bag and drag myself. cant wait. oh and the S-10 is looking good, u just need some new shoesbe careful! most of the 2600's ive seen ahve been 4 wheel drive and that makes it a bitch to bag out. go with a 2200 to be safe.
most likeley a magnesium plate or something of the likenope. i drag all frame. some of the guys in the videos were dragging trailer hitch balls mounted upside down under the frame. others plate the bottom of their frame but i drag straight frame because i dont drag much. but when i do its crazy. :D
omg i like it!thanks a lot man.
Kind of a waste...its cool man. personal opinion is all it is. not everyone will like it but thats the point of different hobbies right? different strokes for different folks.thanks for looking anyways! :D

huh. thats interesting...how long does the frame last before you grind through the framerails?
ridinglow00
08-02-2007, 05:35 AM
a good while. its pretty think material. not sure how thick. but i only drag when i go to shows and thats only about four or five nights out of the entire year. i will everntually make some sort of crossmember to moutn some trailer balls to though.

sweet, man. maybe ill try it someday. ill just use a plate insted of straight frame, because if i try it ill be dragging all the time :)
also...do you have airbags in your suspention to lower it to the ground when you want to drag?

nice choice. loooots of torque and horsepower. great truck. what year model? the new models or what?
Not my style either, but that's really cool. I want to try it.
How much did your truck cost you? you should go for it man. thanks for the compliment. i got the truck for a little under 9k. not bad considering ive put almost half of that into customization.
haha cool. but id rather have mine raised above the clouds. that would be awesome. i would love to see that. lifted S-10s are greatness.

that one up there is nice,
personally i would raise it an inch or two and change the rims to something a bit more classic looking but other than that i love the flat black and green pinstriping

i love the stance of the black one. its perfect. the interior was damn near perfect and i would have eaten off the engine it was so clean.

yo whats up i used to have a couple mini's 87 'yota p'up and a 93' gmc sonoma ext cab
never done bags but always dropped them..
have you relocated your fuel lines? because if im not mistaking the fuel lines are connected to the frame
and btw i seen an article on mini truckin where a guy was saying his s10 sits alot lower then others
because of dragging raw frame and also bodydrop i think he even cut out a bit underneath the doors.
or grinded them i f#$&ing love it. i shouldnt have ever bought a civic :(
not really a truck person but I guess we share some common ground as far as slamming our vehicles to unreasonable heights and the work that goes into everything.
I remember seeing this picture long ago and I saved it, shit is unreal.
if I were to have a truck tho it'd probably look more like this. similar but totally different.

Holy crap, that first pic looks so unreal but thats sickkkkk.
Mini trucks, got a 98 Tacoma Mini myself...5 lug. Lookin to do a 5/4 drop w/ bj flip + c notch, some 17's that will tuck (like a +42 offset); then bag it later on.

i love minitrucks, i had a 1991 s10 2.5l 5 speed 2wd but 10 months of engine headaches made me sell it for something more reliable till i find a project truck.
sold it right after i hit a deer at 65 and rebiult the whole front end
first picture was after the 94 blazer front end, hood, grille, bumper, core support
1988 2.5l radiator, a/c condensor, fan shround and fan
was the 2nd radiator i had in the truck, had an electric fan on it
i miss it, but everytime i went to fix one thing on it exterior or suspension wise, the motor would require a new part
this is what im currently driving, its 4x4 so no lowering yet, lowest is 3/4, im already nearly riding bumpstops front and rear :hmm:

Here is my old lowrider from 89...
before I painted it. Chopped it in my driveway.
I painted it in my driveway too, built a little paint booth.
Here it is in Tulsa OK
It was so low I would hit pop cans on their side...
Here are some of my friends cars.
ThunderRoad, its been in tons of zines.
This one's been featured a bunch of times.

***. This quote is stolen from the parts wagon that used to travel around with the prototype corvette back in the day. "Wagons are built to haul things, this wagon is built to haul ass" was a joke cause the wagon was fast as **** and had to be to keep up with the vette.
^^ most those you posted aren't from the mini-truck scene are they?
aren't they referred to as chopped/custom/classics? or just customs?
Idk I don't blame you for posting. That car I quoted is so hottt as is, I'd love to keep it like that as-is rather than some shiny custom paint. what model car is that anyways?

50's chev I believe.
Its got air ride all round.
The stuff I posted is just stuff my friends drive, a combo of rat rods, hot rods, and totally custom built one of a kiind beasts. One of my friends owns Speed Kings custom hot rod shop here in Cincy.

haha
Bagged means Air Bagged
Another word for air adjustable suspension,
A term you'd be more familiar with is hydraulics, they can raise and lower the height of their truck at any point so they aren't always dragging like that.
But you do have to love seeing a truck sitting on the chassis when its parked =]
