Hi im new and im turning a Kent ( http://www.kentbicycles.com/images/products/62026.jpg sumthing like this ) in to and old school bike here is everything that i am puttin on it im just using the frame and the crank from this bike the bikes year is prolly around '96 or '97

Paint job - red by the rear tire, then it fades to orange in the middle of the bike then into yellow at the front by the forks and handlebars

Tires - http://www.bikealot.com/images/red2125.jpg They match the bike

Rims - just ordinary 20" rims http://i3.ebayimg.com/02/i/000/a6/81/f2ad_1.JPG

now i was wondering will my tire fit my rims if my tires are 2.125 and my rims are 1.75

Pedals - there like this but thinner and yellow http://i23.ebayimg.com/03/i/000/99/a0/cf52_2.JPG

Seat - i haven't found a seat yet any suggestions would be apprecitated

Handlebars - something like this http://i4.ebayimg.com/01/i/000/a4/6a/3ddd_2.JPG

Thanks,
Brandon

Those rims and tire combo dont look like they will fit, hard to tell without seeing the actual auction, but those wheels look alot like 20 X 1-3/8 race rims. Totally different tire size dispite they are marketed as 20" inch wheels.

I cant quite tell though.

^^^well its worth a try,,, Hey man,, Thats a nice bike and all,, But Hes right dude,, If you want to rebuild something,, Its best if you get a Haro, GT, Mongoose, Or Redline,, Oldskool.. I also built up my ride from scratch,, But hey,, If you like your bike model,, Then what the heck,,,,go for it,, Do what you want,, I love rebuilding old bikes,,, I just recently rebuild two new skool bmx bikes,, There cheap wal-mart bike,, that someone threw out just cuz they got old and rusted.. NEXT VOLTAGE< AND WIPEOUT.. They were fun to play around with,, I just build them up and usually give them to the thrift stores to sell.. Makes me feel good. Anyways,, gr8 color.. Altho,, you should of took EVERYTHING OFF THE FRAME,, I'm going to repaint my frame aswell... Good luck with your build up man,,, Cya around..
