So long story short i ran over my left foot with my back tire coming into a quarter shallow heard ripping and went to get xrays. The doc said i have badly torn ligaments. He put me on painkillers for a month and prescribed me some physiotherapy. My question is what can i do to get it to heal better/faster, is there anything i can include in my diet that would help, is it even safe to be on pain killers for a month, and FINALLY what can i do to keep my ass from getting all fat from sitting around?
Answer any of these and you will be my HERO thanks yall
If you want to heal faster so you can be back on your bike quicker, then you might want to re-think that. It's easy to aggrevate an injury by getting back on the horse (so to speak) early.
As for getting fat, you won't get drastically fatter in a month :>

If you dont want to get fat ( which you wont see changes in 1 month unless you eat TONS ) then you work your arms out, get some dumbells itll help a bit and youll have just a bit more muscle for when you get back to biking. Also helps pass some time.
