ok i got a bmx frame a few years back now and it was totaly ruined so i ended up paying $5 (canadian) for it and did a salvege so it looks pretty good now. Today i took it out of storage for the summer now and i cleaned some of the rust of that it got over the year and fixed the brakes. it got me thinking what bike this is i think its a old school HUFFY frame but im not sure i think this frame was availabe late 80s mid 90s
thanks in advance

I had one of those years ago but I can't remember what it is for certain. I know I had a redline at some point and it had RL engraved on the back behind the seat post or somewhere, you might be onto something with that idea. Redline does ring a few bells.

yea i dont think its a mongoose, depending on the year i have an all chrome mongoose that is older, idk what year but definitely differnt then that so im also thinkin redline,
mongoose also tends to engrave their logo somewhere on the bike,
EDIT:although now looking at it again it might be a mongoose because of that little "spoiler", i actually have the same type of thing on mine, except the one im talking about isnt all chrome

Ummm, ^^^ yea its really hard to say. Cuz i know a few oldskool bikes, that have that same little spoiler on the back,,, Sorry i call it s *Spoiler*. I don't know what else to call it, so i just call it that. But anyways. it could b anything. Redline, haro, huffy, mongoose, Kawasaki, Anything. But it looks pretty cool the way u got it set up dude. If i don't know the name of a frame, i just go to ebay and try to find the brand. U might want to try it.

I think it might be a cheapie, like a Murray or something from that era. Not sure though. Is there a serial number on it anywhere?

Wow, thread from the dead. Its definitely not a Redline. It looks like one of those frame Woody Itson use to ride but the "spoiler" curved down on his bike. I think he was Team Hutch. I think its a knockoff like a schwin or murray. Is it heavy?
