staph infection help

hey lately it has occured when i ride for like any more than a couple days in a row my knee pads are causing some kind of irritation on my knees so it kinda burns and when i take them off i have some kind of rash on my knees. some one told me its on the way to becomming staph infection, whats the est way to prevent this? i used to put bandages on my knees before pads, it worked but was so uncomfortable and i couldnt bend my leg as much as id like to. i also tried socks with the toes cut off but same problem and they dont help too much either?

a friend also jsut told my to se talcum powder in my pads does this work?

so as i said before does anyone have anyways of preventing this in any way? cheers?

When not riding make sure to keep neosporin on it.
Atleast 20 minutes a day place a Hot Compound/Hot rag on it.
DONT MESS WITH IT
Keep it covered at all times.
Wash your hands ALOT.
Staph Spreads like you wouldnt believe.

If you have or might have a staph infection, go see a doctor. You need penicillin or an alternative antibiotic to treat it.

ya, staph isnt good. Seen a lot of it from wrestling.
there is some sort of powder, maybe what you said is the name of it, i just cant think of the name right now......hmmm
