Well, i saw someone ask this, and they were told how to, but i figgured if i made an in-depth thing on how to make curb wax it might help people out...and save them money.
step 1: get candles
HOOK
step 3: take the wick out of the candle
step 4: place the striped candles into an empty soup can.
step 5: put around 2-3 cm of water ino a pan(if you fail to do this, you will ruin your pan)
step 6: put the can filled with candles into the pan filled with water, and put on stove(light the stove too)
step 7: wait untill the candles are all melted.
step 8: take the can of melted candles and put it in a bowl of cold water(this helps it solidify faster)
step 9: remove your curbwax from the can
I know its simple, but I figured it my help someone...btw, its really hard ot get it out of the can, you will have to cut it open usually.

candles themselves tend to break apart easier, due to how thin they are, so by making a bigger, solid brick of it you get a better chance of it staying intact long enough to wax multipule curbs

Why dont you post the "formula"?
And I thing lubing the inside of the can with a nonstick spray like Pan will make it easier to take the wax out.

I like using scented candles. So when you fall on the ledge and get hurt, at least you be smelling something pretty.

A combination that i find works well is:
candles
soap
vaseline
and a teaspoon or two of vegetable oil
also if you make it in a pop can with the top taken off with a can opener, its alot easier to get the wax out since its made of much thinner metal than a soup can.

I take 4 cakes of Gulf wax, melt it down, & add the following ingredients:
3 in 1 oil
WD-40
Pam
strong dish soap
No certain amounts. It's a matter of opinion.
Sprinkle a lil salt then pour it into something like a glad container with a lid, & throw it in the freezer overnight. Also I find that you should bring a bar of soap with you as well. Just wax the curb & then go over it with the soap & it'll slide like butta.

wat about the water that you put in the pan! when it gets hot IT BOILS!!!!

water boils at 100 degrees celcius(sp?), however, wax has a lower melting point, so the water shouldn't boil

soap works too but it bubbles sometimes and makes it shitty.
crayons work well, gives you a nice dark purple color too.[:
i hear deodorant works as well but its iffy.
i usually melt my existing wax with other wax and candles and crayons that i find around the house.
then pour it into a mold.
and shove it in the freezer for like 8 hours.
it turns out nice.

The way I do my wax is I melt it in a can then I pour hot liquidy wax into ice cube form and leave it in the freezer for over night, Its really easy to carry little cubes of wax in your pocket and doesnt take that much space at all, I recoment it for any one especially people who have co carry any things with them while riding, its like aftermarket skateboard wax!!! Hope its usefull to someone =)

That would be funny and people at Albe's (http://www.albes.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=95) would give you respect because penguins are their logo and mascot =)

it really has nothing to do with how high anything is. it makes it so you can slide faster/further on a ledge
