practise
first time i tried to bunnyhop i could only just get over a bottle on its side or up a curb
now i can do 20 inches +
after a few months
its jsut practise.. if you got the motion and can do it.. youll be able to go higher with practise

as you go to hop keep your toes pointed down. Lift up on the front end , with your toes pointed down suck up your back end.
Lean back as you are goign into a manual and when you feel balenced then do your bunnyhop! There are loads of different ways to try it!
Good luck

basically you just need to do it loads
i think its a confidence thing i think,
i found like a double curb like thing
which i tried to jump only after a week of
learning the technique? which i was quite
suprised about and ive found that if your trying to
jump onto anything its always best to think its a little
higher than it acctualy is?

if your ride at a medium pace, just lean your body way front then spring back, and leeeaaaaan back, to get your front end up higher...

i taught my friends how to do it by saying this:
its really all one motion even if it looks like multiple ones. you cant think about it as you do it. only thing you have to do is life the front up as hard as possible, then press your arms foward at the same time you bring your feet to you. basically, just pull up, push out, and kick urself in the ass! then prepare to land.
practice is the best way to do it tho. i never practice my bunny hop any more because i ride street... i just jump up shit when i need to. for example, stair sets. instead of carrying my bike up, i just jump up them. 5 stairs is my limit tho i must say!
