from this past few weeks now, i kinda busy w/ all this school project and stuff that makes my whole day no time for rest, but still i ride 3 hrs session everynight, after that i take a cold shower every midnight and only sleep for just 5 hrs a day... :roll:

are there any possible bad side effect of my body, like weakening my bones, anemic, lose blood, or etc... ?:(

Your just going to wear your body out, and then one day your just going to crash, and be really tired, and not feel good and then you'll sleep all day and you should recover soon.

I doubt that any long term affects will occur from this, like weakened bones, or blood loss, but a really hectic day, then only sleeping 5 hours a night can't be good for you. If you sleep longer, and give more time for rest you will probably feel better.

Cold shower... take a hot one it loosens your muscles up. If you only get 5 hours of sleep you barely get any deepsleep and thats what matters. Id say atleast 8..if you eat right it helps ALOT too.

oh.. so it is true...:hmm: i thought its just sum old people beliefs...:lol: my grandma use to say that to me, but i just dont take her advice...:roll:

btw. i almost done w/ my Term paper, maybe i should take a rest next week..:D

You'll reach burnout...and everything will ache and you'll be tired as hell.

Other than that, as long as you are eating enough to maintain weight, you should be ok.


Remember, when your body wears out, you get sick faster and easier. So, you may wana cut back on the riding some. Say 3 days go for 3hrs, 4 only go for like 1-2. After all, do you wana have say the flu when your able to ride and sleep more...do you? That would SUCK.

I said that I doubted that anything would happen long term...

It is just short term crap that happens, like Matrix said.

It's prolly worth cutting out the ridin till you're done with your term paper so you can get more sleep. Not to repeat what everyone else is saying but is it worth the few hours a day you get to ride now if you end up being so sick after the paper is done that you can't ride?

Yea sleep atleast 7-8 hrs a night. when you tired and doing bmx your more likely to hurt yourself and not be able to bmx for a while

having a good bikey session this evening, taking a good shower(cold),my hair is wet, its 12:26am, and im going to sleep now.. :lol:

2 months ago, i use to sleep 12 midnight....

last month i start stretching it to 1 am...

and now, im extending at 2 am... xD


damn... am i really safe and healthy, my sleeping hour is abnormal... :roll:

Different people need different amounts of sleep, they recommend about 8 hours a night but I seem to be fine with about 5-6 hours per night. I have had a few nights where I haven't slept at all and not taken any ill effects from it. Just listen to your body, you'll know if you're tired.
