Very simply the cheapest and most effective way to remove stickers without damaging the paintwork is to use a hair drier to heat up the area the sticker is for a minute and then peel it off.
The heat melts the glue and breaks the bond between the sticker and the surface it is stuck on.
Finally take some White Spirit and and a cloth and rub of the sticky residue ledft behind and the sticker will be gone and the surface will be spotless.
