how to build a dirt track

i have about 2 acres of property thats all wooded with a few trails in it bu the ground is really soft and the roots are a killer when you dig how should i build it?

if the ground is soft that means its moist and that is becuase there are trees with roots trapping water in the ground so oyu want to build farther from the trees

should i get clean fill from a construction place or should i dig it

i would pick up dirt from somewhere else because theres no point in digging in the area ur building the point is to add dirt but yeah good luck i think there are directions somehwere on one of these sites telling how to dig
