What is "Soarex"?
I did a search on google but all I found was this NASA program:

SOAREX (Sub-Orbital Aerodynamic Re-entry EXperiments)
http://www.nasa.gov/centers/ames/research/technology-onepagers/soarex.html

The frame seems sick from the specs but looks like it has really short geo, which I don't like at all.

Ha, I dont know... He doesnt seem like a prick or anything but for some reason im just not to fond of him or his riding.
I guess thats not a good excuse to not like the frame so anyways I like longer toptube and chainstay frames.
Toptube probably 21.25" but atleast 21" and chainstay 14.5 but atleast 14".

I think its just different styles. Im not to fond of Edwins riding as it looks crude but anyone who rides with flow i like.

I want to try a 21tt frame but im not sure if i want it or not...

yeah well considering there are about 3 frames made with a regular head tube (exageration) you have to make due, or have one custom made.

SAY WHAT!

I know of atleast 10 frames of the top of my head. Not to mention every FBM, Standard, T1, S&M(unsure on FIT), Solid can be ordered with a reg HS an US bb if you have it ordered.

Cost is 15$ more...So, why settle for euro/mid(spanish is fine) BB or integrated HS? If you spend 300plus on a frame...whats 15$ to get what you want? I had a FBM Capone waiting with a reg HS an US bb, but my income tax was alot less than planned. So, now some kid in Ohio has it...It only cost me 328(had I bought it).

How can you say a spanish is fine when it uses smaller weaker bearings than a mid, and hey hold on doesn't a mid just use the bearings from a U.S without the cups.............. My last two frames have had internal headsets and i have never had a minutes bother with the, they are pretty much fit and forget, on my old frame my headset came loose once in a year!

Anyway the new hawk frame looks awesome!

I might have to sell my sunday!

I have cracked and or snapped 3 frames at the headset with an integrated...I only ride Reg.

As for spanish, it is similar to a US. Mid uses US BB bearings ONLY...but even one micro mm off and your screwed to pound the bearings into the frame. And when a frame is welded the heat distorts the BB and HS some...so your 50-50 to get problems. Only CNCed BB an HS don't cause a problem. And euro is weak, and not intended for the load BMX gives the threads.

I'd much rather buy 20$ cups now and then than a 300$ frame.

Spanish is nothing like US. It doesnt use cups and is push fit just like mid. However the bearings are smaller. Mid is stronger than spanish anyday.

Just curious, what's wrong with integrated headtubes and seat clamps? I thought most companies were at least going for the integrated headtube. Seems like a lot of race frames use the integrated seat clamp as well. Does anybody remember the Dirtmaster Creature frame? I really liked the integrated headtube on it. From the photos I remember seeing it used bearings very similar to a bottom bracket eliminating the need for a headset all together. It never really took off, and I'm not sure why. Maybe because it was a little bulky.

All integrated features will be a pain if you break them as instead of buying a £6 seatclamp for example you have to either grind the clamp off (like i did) or buy a new frame.

Integrated headsets also damage the headtube by the pressure.

This explains thinks better. (http://www.chrisking.com/tech/int_headsets_explained/int_hds_explain_1.html)

the SOAREX bridges are pretty much squished down round tubing, its kinda oval shaped and the welds dont look too good there but everything else is pretty damn sexy

Yeah there you go. My gripe about integrated headsets is that in a hard fall/crash/landing, the whole headtube will suffer and may even crack, warp out of shape, etc. Also, they cups will wear out insted of the whole headtube. But with regular headsets, the cups take all the beating, wear and tear and they are easily replacable if damaged.

I also think american BB's are supior to other types of BB's because not only do they use the largest(therefore strongest) bearings, the bearings themselve are made to be maintenace free so you run em' till they seize up and wont spin any longer.

My bike has the good ol' reg. headset and american bb, so I have expierance with them. never had problems with either.

so its raw like the raw s3???
if so, im getting it in that raw color
cause it shows all the welds and all

and what's that other color then? on the fit website?
the dark gray one..
http://www.fitbikeco.com/uploaded_images/hawks_blades-737512.jpg
they never show it in raw..
thats why im confused if flat clear is that dark gray color or raw...
