[News] New projects. Chapter 2. Spanish BB 2

Here is a new version of Spanish bb set that weīve been working on. Some time ago we thought that using the same bearing system as the headset have this advantages:


- You can put the bearings with your hand
- You can regulate how hard you want your cranks to spin (for tailwhips and stuff)
- You can forget about the inside spacer.


The bb shell has the same diameter as the Spanish bb with a 37mm. OD bearing.
We have also made an insert that allows to use this system on any Spanish bb frame.
Hope you like the idea. Weīll keep you informed about this

Slide the crank


Tight crank until you get the spinning hardness that you want


Tight the cone


Tight the crank a bit more to fix it


Done!


This is the insert to fit any Spanish bb


The insert is pressed with the hand. That small cut help it to stay in place.

I'd rather stick to Euro, but that's deffinatly a interesting idea. But wouldnt that insert get crushed by over tightening? Just my concern.

For this one, I prefer to post this photo and later what is all about. we have been doing this everytime we show this thing to everybody and itīs so funny. Most of them donīt know what the hell it is. Maybe you already saw it on the internet but for those that didnīt, iīll give you some days to figure out what is this.

It goes under the frame near the backwheel for protection/grinds DUH! :hihi:
