I wondered when we would see snail cams, as there known in the trials world and yep they have arrived.

All you do is rotate them and becasue there rounded the more you rotate them the further or nearer the wheel is moved away from the BB area. Only thing I don't like about these ones is there on the outside of the frame and should be on the inside, out of the way and the hole for the bolt you see should be higher up so the snail cam is out of the way of getting damaged from grinding.

I've seen plenty of people with snail cams, but no mass produced stuff as of yet.

Everyone has these on Gopeds, it's basically a must on hard tire peds. But the ones on Gopeds aren't completely smooth, they have bumps on the so they'll lock into the bolt better-

The thing is no grooves means more and better adjustment, the bigger the groves the less adjustment you get but you get a sturdier chain tension.

If they come up with a notched one, it'll be my next set of tensioners. Now that I think about it, I might try my hand at making my own.
