HowTo
Roll up to the pipe woth enough speed to air out,
Do a basic 180 but spin it quicker and sooner than you would if you wanted to land on the deck.
Do the complete 180 or about 20 degs. more or less.
Land back tire on the deck, front tire on the transition, try and get your sprocket on the coping.< that takes practise and more than a 180.
Regain composure and push down on your fornt wheel and lift your back tire off the deck to drop in. roll away smooth and get a 10/10 for your score card.TIP: Do these on a quarter pipe to start of with then progress to steeper and other obstacles.

this is a pretty bad how to, i think the trick to a disaster is dipping your head in a little back into the quarter, helps to keep you from airing out.

Do you stall on the sproket or between the sproket and bakwheel.
and how do i NOT f... my sproket up.
If you want to avoid bashing your sprocket, try to do it on the chain instead. You have to be pretty precise, however...

Go for it! A smaller sprocket will lessen the chance of hitting, but you can also stall them with the sprocket forward. For instance on a 7 foot tall steep ramp, the back wheel is just hanging on the deck when I do them, sprockets not even and issue.

also try putting a pedal down as most chainwheels don't touch the coping nowadays, this is very important for brakeless riders.

another tip would be to place ur pedal on the coping once you have spun to hold the trick

do you have to know how to 180 out (land on top ) of a quarter before you can do a disaster?
im super keen to try this as my next trick :)

You would say that, anything you can't do you seem to not like at all. and the other day you seemed to have loved disasters
cool i am going to try it now
you can put ur pedal down and push on the deck with it to stop ou dinner plate hitting
bit too short but still helps a bit
