HowTo
Do a normal jump, make sure you have enough speed to get some air.
In midair hold on to your handlebars and turn them 180 degrees without taking the hands of them. (ie you cross your arms over)
Make sure that you return them before your land (its really not fun if you land while you turn the bars)

you want to wait until you are close to the peak of your jump before you turn your bars.

Ok, x-ups are a fairly difficult trick to learn. But once you have them you can't ever really lose the feel of them. For me i ride right foot forward and turn my bars to the left which i thought would be my oppo way but it isnt. my tips would be jump and turn your bars and get more and more comfortable and keep getting further, i started out doing 90 deg bar turns. now today i x-uped on my 22inch bars. a mates 25 inch civilians on a four pack and 28 inch sunday triumphs on a rl device. they feel really good with big bars but they arent hard at all. i just started by airing once. then turn the bars a bit and then as i said above keep going til u get it down.
hope it helps someone as i know riders who are alot better than me who cant x-up.
ps they also look sick with 28 inch bars.

sorry but here is my list.
1. Air over a gap or box and get comfortable with clearing it.
2. Air it and turn your bars a little bit. Keep trying to get them further around each go.
3. Keep repeating step 2 until you can get them.
4. Have fun.

i found it was much easier to x up while doing a manuel before trying it out of a jump, i think the trick is to start turning your arms while you are still getting higher, if you know what i mean. not when you are completely air bourne like i thought when i first started trying to learn x ups...

What have I got that makes you want to love me.
Is it my body or someone I might be, or somethin' inside me
You better tell me. Tell me It's really up to you.
Have you got the time to find out. Who I really am.
What does it take to get inside of your mind.
Give me a break and take a chance for the very first time.
You better tell me. Tell me.
It's really up to you.
Have you got the time to find out.
Who I really am. What have I got.
That makes you want to love me.
Now is it my body or someone I might be or somethin' in side me.
You better tell me. Tell me.
It's really up to you.
Have you got the time to find out. Who I really am.
Just turn your bars whichever way feels more comfortable (I prefer to do it towards my rear foot, although I can also do it... albeit not as clicked... towards my front). Start off doing turnbars to 90 degrees, and just keep cranking it harder and harder on successive tries until you get to 180 (or greater). Remember, the more clicked it is, the more the girls will be on your jock. And, unless you're homo (not that there's anything wrong with that!), having girls on your jock is totally awesome.
Sidenote: It's far easier to do x-ups/downs (and turndowns, lookbacks, indowns, etc., etc.) with wider bars; Beringer Lights FTW.

Icy Hot.
I find it easier to do x-ups if I pinch the seat. Especially 1 hand x-ups.

I find it's easier to do them with bars that fit, i.e. aren't too narrow, but aren't too wide either.
no offence but none of your how to help they just say what the trick is not anygood tips on doing it
