Age of product- 2+ years

Type of riding - Street with little park

How often I ride - 3-5 hours

I got this stemform my dad's girlfriend's son who used toBMX a lot and was into racing here and there then street specifically. I got it for freeso I couldn't complainanyway.

Weighing about 15 ounces its a lightish stem. This product also has great torsional stiffness, and rigidity, making this stem quite strong. I, being tall, held favor in the long reach of the stem. The only displeasure that I ever recieved from this stem was the fact thatone of the lower of the two pinch bolts stripped out.

Being that the product is made by Haro, this factor most possibly turn people off, and I would have to admit, I thought the stem would suck.. I was mistaken greatly in this though. This is a great product, and one of the few Haro products that I actually held favor in. My other stem was slipping alot and this stem I've had noproblems with.

Price wise I would saythis wouldhave cost in the $30 range back in the day it was first produced. I cannot seem to find it in any mailorders now seeming that this is an older stem but to my knowledge I think they do have it on some of there completes.

Rating

As the product went throughtwo riders, including myself I'm going to have to give it a 9/10.

Costs: about unkown as the stem has been discountinued and is only sold OEM with completes.

yeah anyway....there's nothing wrong with most of haro's stuff, people here just think its "cool" to bash on them. haro's been around for years so they have to know at least a little bit about bmx and bmx parts.
good stuff

not to bash on haro or anything but i wouldnt recomend this stem. if your getting it for free its ok but theres deffienentally alot more products you could get instead, i had this stem, and it did me well, didnt slip much and was pretty strong. but it eats knees, i meen bad, like from the ankle up lol. it isnt light at all seeing as most stems now weigh about half what it does. there good for begginers but deffienantley upgrade when you can.

I have one. Not by choice but because it came on my F5. Being that its 4 years old and it doesn't slip I can't complain. and lemme tell ya there's other things i will replace way before this......(insert Haro Bash here)
