Article from BMX-Zone.com, http://www.bmx-zone.com/en-article-id-468.html

After making some money working forafriend last fall, i bought these pedals since my stock unsealed ones werent cutting it and i kept losing those stupid 2mm allen pins. So for the price, I figured you couldnt beat sealed pedals with replaceable phillips pins for only 30 bucks. Heck all the hype about Jim C's and they were 2 bucks more and not even sealed. So I picked these bad boys up.

As for grip, these pedals grip really really good. If you do alot of tricks like turndowns, tables, etc where you need to keep your feet on the pedals, I would recomend these.A good featureis 6 pins on each side are replaceable, while 6 pins arent. It doesnt matter really, they wont break out. Oh yea, another plus is that they come with a bunch of free replacement pins, that was cool.

The only problem I encountered with these was that I bought them right whenI started to learn pedal grinds. So Ididn't run one for along time because i was running my old left pedal because I had no desire to ruin these right away (and of course these had pins that could not be taken out and those would make pedal grinds hard). Well naturally, the old pedal crapped the bed on me about 2 months ago so I have had to run my left mosh pedal without any replaceable pins in it, and onlythe ones you cant take out. so far from doing pedal grinds at the park on both sides of the pedal, only one of the non-replaceable pins broke off. Pretty impressive if you ask me, although I haven't and am afraid to do any hard pedal grinds when im riding streetbecause of the pins being destroyed on theconcrete, but its notthe pedals fault.I should havethought ahead.

Specs
<ul>
Sealed bearings,
Black only.
6 replaceable pins.
6 non replaceable pins per side.
9/16 (Fits 3 Piece Cranks).
4130 Chromoly axle
20.4 Oz.
Pros:
<ul>
Sealed
Lots of pins/traction
Cheap for a sealed pedal
Cons:
<ul>
6 non-replaceable pins make it impossible to make the side of your pedal smooth if you want to do pedal grinds on rough surfaces, but they dont have alot of surface area either, implying thats not what they were designed for.
Rating

I give these pedals a 9/10, with one point off for the fact that you cant take out all the pins (whichI know wouldnt bother most people because they dont do pedal grinds) like you can on Jim C's or Hamiltons.

don't get them. they are mtb pedals. if you are looking for pedals get the odyssey JC's. they have replaceable pins and will hold up a lot longer than the mosh ones. thoes wont last on a bmx bike.

you are retarded vpbiker. they are perfect for bmx.

one thing you could do is find a friend with a dremel and grind of the pins on one side. thats what im probably gonna do.

they are good for the price. they are also real grippy, so i took out some of the removable pins and ground the ones i left in down a little so they arent as long.

i might get a set of them caus my stock specialized ones keep slipping and its a pissoff when u cant even grip during air. i dont pedal grind so i got no use taking pins out.

I love these pedals. I've had them since last Christmas, and never has a pin gotten loose, or fallen out. I love the grip on them and they hold up really good. For the price, I'd buy them again.

it was a joke you tool.
and in further news, i messed up a stupid wallride, missing the wall, going parallel with it and sliding down teh side of a brick wall, and bent my right pedal.
still run the left, and im sure i woulda bent any pedal in that situation regardless.

I rode some of these when I had to borrow my freinds bike, didn't seem to have the same amount of grip my Jim C's do, but, $25 bucks for a sealed pedal? Go for it.

I've been running there for a about 5 or so months now and for 25 bucks I can't complain. As mentioned in previous posts probably the only bad part about these really is the fact that not all the pins are replacable so once they break off they're gone. This is pretty common in most pedals and it doesn't bother me personally but 6 of the 12 pins on each side are like this and the outer most 3 on either sides always break off regardless of whether you pedal grind or not. (as seen in the pic below) Also, ever since i've had these one has spun kinda crappy. Lubicants have no effect. Lastly, the part you wrench on is either slightly smaller or just weaker then other pedals so it tends to strip unless you got a real good grip on it.

The red circles are indicating where pins have broke off, and the 3rd one on the outer most edge should be coming off soon as well. That said, all in all's good grip, sealed, cheap and i'd say worthly of a low 8/10 or high 7 :clap:

I just got these pedals and this is the video of me losing my old pedals on a crappy dirt jump...the old pedals were smoothe plastic from a MTB...

I haven't made any new vids, but the Mosh pedals litterally stick into and grab my shoes just enough that it feels as if I had them velcro'd.
