I was looking for a frame to replace my truly worn out macneil ruben whenI found this frame.I was looking for a frame that had good street geometry, fairly light but not stupidly, no wishbones, ss brake mounts, and if possible cheap price. This ticks all the boxes on my checklist.

Specs:
<ul>
100% heat treated 4130 cromo construction.
Butted top & downtubes to save weight.
75 degree head tube angle.
71 degree seat tube angle.
21&rdquo; or 20.5&rdquo; toptube lengths.
13.7&rdquo; &ndash; 14.4&rdquo; rear stays.
11.5&rdquo; bb height.
Weight 5.6lbs
No dents or crimps on stays
Colours: Black, Burgundy or light blue
Compact 5mm thick dropouts
mid&rdquo; bottom bracket shell is machined after welding for perfect bearing fit.
Factory installed bottom bracket bearings and spacer.
Available with either regular A-head or Internal headtube.
So skip forward to the weekend and I've decidedI really do need to get on with buying a frame. soI give cyclone a call (one of the best bikes shops about, give em a call if your in the area, theyll hook you up) and found thatI could get a good deal on the frame.I picked it up at about 10am and by about 12I had it together and was riding it. It was truly amazingly easy to set up, bb and headset ushed in with fingers, and everything else was perfectly finished.

The only thingI did find wasI needed more headset spacers thanI expected.I ended up using 3 of the big ones, thats how small the ht is on this! The other thingI noticed thatI like about this is there are no gussets anywhere to be seen, but dont worry, its not going to sacrifice strength, its guaranteed for life!

First thingI noticed was how much easier it was to manual and spin on this thing, coming from the Macneil it felt like a dream,I could manual about 4x as far!

Pros:
<ul>
Strong
Lightish
Lifetime guaranty
Cheap
Comes with 19mm bb
Spot on geo
Cons:
<ul>
Paint seems to chip a little too easy
Price:

&pound;210 / $388

Overall:

OverallI give this frame 9.9 out of 10, let down simply by the paint, the rest is perfect.

Iron Maiden is my favorite band, so I'm diggin the stickers. You probably want to cut your steer tube down. looks like a great frame, little long for me, but if I was taller I'd definatley look into one.

you need to remember you lot in the US pay about half of what we pay over here in the UK. in the UK that is about £100 less than similar specced frames
