Article from BMX-Zone.com, http://www.bmx-zone.com/en-article-id-447.html

I was looking for a seat that I could slam to the ground to be out of the way when I'm doing my stuff yet still be comfy enough to sit on when coasting to and from places. The Odyssey Jr seat looked like the ideal seat for me, so I had to give it a go seeing as it was so cheap and my other seat had bent rails and was missing most of the top.

I have to admit that I really do love this seat as it lived up to all my requirements, strong, small, light, out of the way yet still nicely padded and comfy. I've had the seat for about two months now and I've not had to look at it since and I do have the odd big crash and tantrum and the seat is normally one of the things that suffers. This is a really sleek looking seat and it's not too small that it looks totally out of place on a bike.

The seat comes in so many colours your bound to find one you like and those new fancy colours are plain shit, period.

Specs
<ul>
Originally designed a mini race seat, but now riders wanting a small, light seat are starting to use this.
Alloy rails.
Light weight - only 166g.
Black/Red, Black/Blue, Black, Brown, White.
[/list]

Summary

If you want something that is cheap and strong then you can't really go wrong with this seat.

Rating

I'd give this seat a 8/10 as I know its not going to be everyones cup of tea and some of the colours are pure gayness, but if you do want a seat that is small and strong then this could be the one for you. Cheap and cheerful lives on.

Cost: about &pound;20

is the junior like an anal in the ass or is it comfortable? ive heard it hurts or its comfortable. WHICH?! but since im not a weight weenie and i dont feel any weight difference in the seat, ide go with a senior just for more comfort

Then you should raise your seat. Doing turndowns where the seat is next to the leg is just grim. It feels so much better to get the leg under the seat.

ok i got the seafoam/ orange seat (to match my mint green rims) and so far this seat is awesome. its super light (going from an 18 ounce seat to a 6 ounce seat) makes life easier on ur back. good to slam or w/e u want. its not as uncomfortable as ppl say. its definately something to get used to sitting on cus u gotta sit on it a proper way to be comfortable but its not uncomfortable, its just a BIT harder than regular seats. and since its short i wish i had the intac post to move it back a bit. but other than that its a sexy looking seat and its just a great seat. im those kinds of ppl that sit down a lot but its not bad at all. just getting used to. so dont hate it cus u heard its uncomfortable.

uh thatll work ok i guess but u'll look weird sitting sideways. i just sit on it normally and just like move around about to get it good. but somtimes i just sit on it and dont notice a thing

I do what ever the hell i want. Not what i feel limited to doing based on what particular hub im running...

Nice try though.

i love this seat. i got it in seafoam/ orange and i love the shape and weight. its not the best couch to sit on but it is a good seat to sit on. i might get another one as my next seat.
