I bought the Primo Super Tendorizer pedals after my mongoose ones had worn down

I bought the pedals in black and i was amazed at how grippy they where and they where amazingly easy to balance on the only problem is the pick up mud very easily. i'm not to sure but i think the bearings are sealed to and they where only $25.00 from my local shop

Overall rating 9.9 out of 10

Costs: about $25 USD

-Ugly
-Heavy
-Wear down fast
-Cases of them cracking
-Pins dont thread in from underneath meaning if pins snap off or wear down you cant get them out to replace them.

They really didnt put much thought into these pedals imo...

I ride very hard style and brake a lot of stuff. Before getting those I was skeptical, case heard of broken/bend weak axles. I got 2 pairs of black one , one pair - 1 year, another - 7 months.

I got unsealed aluminium version. I hate pins so I machined it down. Then the rest of pins was wear while grinding the really concrete. They hold good, and the axles dont get bend.

The loose ball bearings need to be tightened well after some time. The axle dammage come usually from riding pedals with some play. Tightening them with 2 nuts it's not so easy - not everyybody can do it well (block the nuts by tightening 2 nut in the same time).

still spinning well around (not even re-greased one, just tightened once).
they are weared by the pedal grinds.

Ive got a pair. They feel nice at first and actually last aaaages, just loose grip after a short amount of time... there indestructable although they can crack if you treat em hard enough.

bad points - heavy as a fat man (a fuking fat man at that)
- grip wears down after a while
- the pins are ***.
- if you ride in wet/mud conditions i would pass
- the corners of the pedals (in pic below).... sharp as ****. i have lost several chunks of leg from these badboys.

I got more horrible pedal bites from these pedals in one month than I did with 6 from the JCs. Thats all I needed to switch back.

they suck. and for $25 they aren't sealed. i hate them. if you had to get primo pedals you should have gotten the balance series.

same aswell. pins are not replaceable! heavy. left pedal seized up once after a year of riding. not a hit for me.

Wow, I'm suprised so many people hate these pedals.
You can't beat the grip imo
they come in a lot of colors
They are cheap

They are heavy, tenderize your shins and non-replaceable pins.

I've had mine(unsealed) for a year and they spin great, still have most of the paint, and I'm only missing one pin. And I am no where near a smooth rider.
