Article from BMX-Zone.com, http://www.bmx-zone.com/en-article-id-441.html

About 3 months ago I needed a new seat because the one I had was uncomfortable. I wanted a seat that was lightweight, but not extremely hard.

I found the Odyssey Senior Seat. It is covered in leather, which ripped at the nose after a few hard falls. The seat is comfortable to sit on and is just a tad bigger than the Odyssey Junior Seat, and has alittle more padding. It has 7mm rails made of hollow cr-mo. I got this seat in black but you can also get it in brown and white.

I give this a 7/10. It loses marks as it got ripped pretty quickly.

Costs: about $25 USD

My brother has this seat and I've ridden his bike a few times now and it does feel nice, although I can feel no difference between this and my Jr seat, there both the same price and both as good as each other.

Mine is a completely different colour from those. I call the colour greaseywhite or just "grey".

the shadow slim is longer and abit more padding but it is not noticeable. if your a weight whore get the senior as its the lightest seat u can get and with a demo alluminium seat post it is lighter than the macneil setup

I ran one of these for the past year, and swapped it for a Veteran seat a few weeks back (which I found that I hated - I've got a Macneil SL now, although I haven't had a chance to ride with it yet, due to a knee injury).

Anyway, the Senior was a really good seat. My only real complaint is that there wasn't a rubber or plastic grip on the bottom, so I tore my fingers on the staples doing seatgrabs a few times.

if i chose a seat it would be the senior kevlar seat. im not a big fan of the kevlar (since my ass slips off of it) but it will last longer in my guess. too many people have the shadow slim. its weird and ugly and too many people have it. but i have heard its a good seat to strip even tho i dont like stripped seats
