<strong style="font-family: helvetica;">The little things in life[/b]
I had some spare money to spend and I needed to get my order over 'x' amount for free shipping so I bought some Profile Titanium Flush bolts to replace the ugly, nasty looking, bog standard bolts that came with my Profile cranks. Yes they are expensive for just bolts but they neaten up the crank bolt area so much and they took away the need to carry my socket set around with me to sort my cranks out if I ever needed to as they used a 5mm (imperial equivalent0 allen key. I was expecting to round of the allen key hole with mysteel alen key ike I alwyas seem to do but no the things been done up and undone more times than umanly needs be and its still intact. Seeing as it was threading intoa titanium axle I tought some major greasing of the threads was in order to prevent any seizing of the two and yes all seems well.
This probably the only piece of titanium BMX kit that I would actually suggest buyng if you were in the market for a bit of exotica and had a spare bit of cash floating about in your Swiss bank accounts.

Specs
<ul style="font-family: helvetica;">
Certified Aerospace Grade Titanium Flush Mount Bolts with aluminum washers.
Kit includes two bolts and two washers.
Fit Profile Racing, Premium Lite and Odyssey 41 Thermal 19mm crank spindles.

[/list]Pros:

+ Light

+ Looks Smart

+ Surprisingly strong not made of cheese like everything else titanium
Cons:

- Expensive
Overral
7/10 - A nice finihsing touch to a fantastic set of cranks but comes at a bit of a cost to the wallet.

I only paid £15 for mine to bump the price of the parts to £200 for the free delivery. The price now is a joke.

i heard titanium bolts or parts get loose faster then normal.. like titanium spindles get loose faster then the ChroMoly ones. but i dont know i guess it depends on which bike and who it is

The nuts on my grind side of my rear Ti axle came loose easily but that was after lots of grinding and I had no anti spin bolts.

The Ti crank bolts have only come loose becasue the stupid Ti axle is rounded but threadlock has sorted that.

Profile makes their bolts waaay too short to save weight. My friend's cranks have 2 threads gripping the spindle. Being an idiot, he blamed this on not having loctite.

or an unusual frame with a wider BB, or an awful lot of spacers...

Hence why You can buy longer Axles.

Ti parts do kick ass and if I wasnt so verging on homelessly-poor Id get me some. I just couldnt justify spending that much on 2 bolts when cromo is so cheap in comparison.

I agree, the upside of TI is though you wont just save weight on the parts but you'll drop about 2-4 lbs in apparel weight when you ride naked cause you had to sell your clothing to put a down payment (roughly $2,000 though based on how much you make a year) on a TI stem bolt.

I have these and I found the one side kept coming loose in my crank arm. I fixed it with some lock-tight tho.
