Article from BMX-Zone.com, http://www.bmx-zone.com/en-article-id-391.html

Well, to start things off, I got these in late September, and for some reason remember putting them on on exactly October 1st. So ive had them roughly 6 1/2 months, which is alot longer than my Primo barends I had before lasted. One of the ends popped off when I bailed off my bike but the internal part of the barend worked fine. I gave them to my friend, who fixed the broken one by putting some washers on it, and picked up these.

I've ridden street and park with them, and I throw my bike and bail alot so they take alot of beating. They stay tight, dont move or come loose, and so far, the paint is only scratched like on the outer edges of the sides of them, and you can still see the logo and they dont look that used even though I know theyve been through alot. They havent snapped like my Primo ones, and after about 3 months the primos were so scratched they just looked silver.
My only complaint is that unlike some barends of this style, they arent knurled on the part that goes inside so they can slip sometimes when you try to tighten them. This was easily fixed by holding a pair of channel-locks on the end while I tightened them. Not really a big issue.
In Review:
Pros:

+ cool looking

+ strong

+ cheap

+ never come loose/fall out
Cons:

- can slip sometimes while tightening (though is easily overcome)
I give these a 9/10, with one point off for the slipping but only one because like I said, not a huge issue.

Costs: about $11 USD

these along with my stem and seat post are the only remaining parts from my mosh brass 2 star, i dont think ill ever need to change them, and they are a wonder, i briefly took them out for a month or two, because i was tryin to be a weight whore, and rode with the plastic ones on. i hated the plastic barends, and bein obsessed with weight, so i put them back on, and put some heavier parts on. im lovin the barends, and i dont think ill ever need a new set. the only think i can see replacing is the bolt, besides that they are still goin strong for 3-4 years now

I got these about a year and a half ago and it looks like I will have them a lot longer than that.
