I was reading this thing about morgan wades worst injury and he said that it was when he had a staph infection in his right knee and I was like wow I had that too and the doctor told him if he didnt come in the day he did he would have died and thats what my doctor said to me i was actually in the hospital for 4 days longer than he is. I thought it was crazy seeing how morgan has bones of steel and all that crazy hardcore-ness

all of my good wrecks/injuries never get on film or nothing. i wish i would have got on film when i slid across the road at 45mph, through gravel, and slammed into a tree, or as far as i know because i blacked out and found my shoes hat glasses in a 30ft radius of me and my bike wedged against a tree.

then i remember jumping a ramp backwards and landing about 20ft from the other side, painful flat landing.

then ive had the day when my finger got caught in my chainwheel and i had to yank it out because i couldnt back the crank up to release my finger.

then ive got loads of other little things, like the infamous shredded shins (done it 3 times in a row skin took a long time to ever heal), sprained wrists/ankles, other things. just wish i had video of my wrecks. only got one on tape but was funny because i redeemed myself by sliding down the ledge and back on my bike, but wasnt a bad wreck.

I have had many, On a bike I have cracked ribs, crushed cartiledge and streched my ligaments to the point where they almost broke and will not go back to normal. But the worst stuff I have done was on my dirtbike, a few weeks ago I was going like 50mph in a wheelie and my leg slipped off the footpeg and my knee got stuck in the rear tire, tore straight thru my pants and my knee was the size of a watermelon for a week. After that I bought knee pads :/

Just imagine 3months off a bike for an ACL repair surgury...only to have the scar rip open and catch on your axel as you fall. Hurt like hell and THANK GOD it didn't screw up my ACL agian. 50stapes to fix.

i think i talked about it in my first post ever. but anyways last june me and my buddys had a dirt kicker we built that threw you on to a dirt hip that was about 8-9 feet tall. the gap was maybe a good 12-14 feet. for some reason i pedaled about 3 times to many pedals then it takes to make it with the gearing i had at the time and bailed and my back landed at the bottom of the hip and i ended up landing right on top of my bars. i came out with a torn kidney and 27 lacerations in my spleen

You know you now carry staph right? And it can come back at any time...with no warning except flu-like symtoms.

I had one from football, and oh god...it was awful. It had to be drained ike 10 times, and that just stinks(literal smells like A**). And then it came back about 3yrs later in my elbow. They got that one fast with tons of meds and it never needed drained or anything.


I think there is 2 types of staph infections.

MRSA and just Staph. MRSA(may be the wrong intials) can KILL YOU! So, if you get something that looks like a bug bite anywhere and they it gets sore and tender to touch. SEE A DOC. I had 3 different meds to cure mine and the doc said it was similar to cemo. It fried the staph, but also some healthy cells. So, watch out for staph.

NO PICS...it is too gross. The articles aren't short...but may help save your life. BMX(bikers in general) get staph alot. The main defence is staying clean. But, as we all do...every cut dosen't get 100% cleaned...some never do. And well, staph just moves on in.

Can't really see it, this picture was take a week or so after the crash.

I was riding some trails in my area and it had been my first time really taking riding seriously and wanting to progress so I was pushing my luck a little. I was riding a line that's like a rhythm/pump section then a small double into a dip into the gorund then a table top that stretches over about a 5-7 foot gap/top-whatever.

Well after about getting scared a bunch of times I finally just hit it and landed cleanly and just fine. Did it a couple times and finally got comfortable on it. 5th or so try through and I just felt a little ballsy and boosted the table and some how bailed mid-air. As came down I somehow fell to my right and slammed my head/face into the dirt pretty good.

I pretty much layed there for a good 10-15 seconds, stood up and I stumbled down because I was a little dizzy and concussed? I layed down and shook it off. It wasn't anything serious, kinda a slap in the face though.

I specifically remember laying in the dirt thinking "I never want to ride bikes again..." but I really just ended up getting up and doing it again just fine.

Oh and, no helmets :] smart huh? Nott.

wow thats intense haro4lyf.

worst bike accident i had was the first time i bunnyhopped onto a picnic table, got on but didnt have enough speed to get off the end and my front wheel fell down. i landed face first on the pavement. had some nice road rash on my face and chipped a tooth but thats it.

best crash i had was faceplantin the ground when i smacked into a mates bike... this was ages ago before i started bmx.... but it was on a bmx... i had a good scab on the right side of my face.... and school photo's got a look at it too :S

i had some bad motorbike ones. no pics though.

i slid down the road pinned under my bike at about 70 wearing jeans, ripped my knee open and tore off my knee-cap. rode home and mum saw it and freaked haha

that was so bad for recovery though as i was bandaged for like months and i had to bath the scab and remove it because the wound was so big, if i left it it would crack and bleed everywhere :D


also had my motocross bike flip twice in the air and then land on me, the footpeg blew my shoulder open and broke the socket, and i broke 3 ribs. that was fun too, my arm was just hanging there :lol:

k so i was doing a 360 and my foot went through my frame and i spiral fractured my tibia and fibua (shin) 2 surgerys 109 stitches and still not good lol happened in october

i was riding my mini ramp and i dont know what the hell happend but my face went right into my bars and my teeth were ****ed lol

I overshot a double by about 5 feet and slammed face first into the next jump. I dont remember any of it my friends told me :)
I knocked out, and al I remember is calling my dad I looked around I was seeing so many stars my vision was blurred out for like 10 minutes. 3 sprained fingers a fat lip my eye is swollen shut and I have a cut down my chest-

hmm, i dont have any pics of my worst injuries. but i have one of the bloodiest.

i was doing a can can over a double and missed a pedal on the way down. the pedal ran over my foot and ended up cutting my Achilles tendon! it wasnt so bad, but it didnt stop bleeding for 3 hours. i had to keep my sock on to get it to stop :(
