I turned on the tube and discovered all of these protests going on, what does everyone think about the illegal immigration?
And what about Bush's possibility of using a nuke to destroy a centrifuge (sp) to keep Teh_ran
from creating a nuke?

How do you own land that wasn't made by you, or that you even helped contribute to creating? Let them in. You should be flattered that ther are coming to your country to seek a new life because it is 'better' than their old country.
And I am guessing that this is a dream come true for the capitalists, cheap work. Good for the rich bad for the poor.

^ Exactly my point. In my opinion, the policies of immigration and crap like that are absolute bullshit. It would be a billion times better to unite the world with a single government, but 99% of the time, some twat will sieze power and it all collapses. Where's Jesus when you need him?

Just been banned from this forum again i think...
Also i just thought. How many people in the US are related to the original indians and not the settlers?
Those who arent: your forefathers were illegal immigrants...

Odin was simply a false prophet of Georgia :P
This country was based on allowing immigration to it. It was built on and by immigrants. Like Punk said, your grandfather or his father immigrated here at some point. So....
I have no problem with immigration, but I do have a problem with someone not learning English to live here. If I went to Norway, I would not expect someone to speak English. I would be expected to communicate the best I could in Norwegian. If I go to Canada, I wouldn't consider asking for change in US dollars, I'm in canada.
I just think there should be a better "orientation/training" process to live here.

Yeh exactly. Thats what bugs me about immigrants. When they go to a country and try and remake it in their image.
Take the UK for example. There are so many people who want to have taxpayers money in benefits etc but dont want to have our way of life.
Also people who come to this country to plan terrorism. You take things we offer like benefits and to say thanks you blow us up  .
Seems to me what the mexicans want is an open border between the two countries.

Knowing that asshole Bush, his plan will probably be to take over Mexico and make it the 51st state.

Knowing the asshole Blair, he probably wants the UK to become the 51st state and him to be vice presidant...

Which is another point where Capitalism fails. (Refer to other topic)

If they work for less, tough shit. It just proves some people have had it hard and will do anything to get a good life. People need to appreciate what they got. They aren't exactly holding CEOs at gunpoint to get jobs, are they? And the immigration problem has almost nothing to do with capitalism, but in this case, capitalism caused it in the first place. What do you lot expect, you go to a place and blow shit up, don't you think that they're going to flee over into your country? I know a shit-ton of Iraqi people immigrated into the UK the second a war was declared. Most of my Iraqi friends' families came over during the gulf war.

im not racist dont get me wrong, but i h8 it wen foreigners come to our countries and try to make us believe in wat they want. like in australia, some people wanted easter banned. and many of our suburbs hav been over come with large amounts of different races causing trouble. but bombing for peace is like ****in for virginity, its gonna get ya no where and start a huge war. y do countries fight amoungst each other, there is no point, we r all people and we all should get along

I now realize the stupidity of saying that capitalism is to blame for the immigrants taking all the jobs (although it's definately not helping) If you want to blame any one, blame the guys that are hiring them. And keep in mind that the immigrants need jobs just as much as you do.

Capitalism is indirectly responsible for most of the worlds problems. FACT. No, not the kind of fact in my signature.
I.e.: Idiot/impatient leader of african country X wants to expand, borrows money from IMF/World Bank. Interest is charged on this, so counrty struggles to pay it all back. So taxes are raised, meaning the people can't buy more of X, or make Y, meaning there's less money flowing around, meaning taxes are raised further, meaning less money going around, meaning loadsa crime, meaning taxes raised, meaning me getting random f*cking emails from "mary benson" wanting to transfer £45 million into my account, as I am obviously the only person in the world that can do it.
