Hm, I agree with the system of a down, nut the others are nothing special.

#i listen to lots of...

Limp bizkit (sorry!)
Linkin Park
Tenacious D
Slipknot
The vines
Nirvana (but not teen spirit)

And my other music tastes are (and I'm not joking here btw!)

Classical piano
German and Italian opera (especially Wagner)
Hard trance (only the underground stuff, not the cheesy shite like eric prydz 'call on me')
Heavy drum and bass
Hip hop (of the 'old skool' variety)
LOADS of jazz (particuarly louis armstong)

so yeah, anyone else listen to uncoventional music (unconventional for bmxers btw)?

o and respect to lukey, ur modern bands arent that gr8, but old skool hip hop (when they actually had somethin 2 say which gave their music purpose instead of just talkin about "bustin a cap in a niggaz ass" bullshit), classical piano and jazz ( specially jazz-fusion) rocks.

I have to agree with you acegikmo. Hiphop used to be so cool, cause it was bouncy, catchy, and generally good humoured. But now all they talk about is how many girls they've been in, how many billions of times they've been shot, and what they're going to do with the next person that intrudes on 'their turf' (as if they own it anyway).
So yeah, pretty much all modern rappy/hiphop stuff is utter shite, but there did used to be some good stuff...

Snap - I've got the power
Run DMC - its like that
C & C music factory - gonna make you sweat
I like to move it
Chad jackson - hear the drummer get wicked

Any of those played loudly is GUARENTEED (sp?) to get your party started

HELL YES! Have you heard (I think it's called) "Killer Bunnies"? I can't find it anywhere. I've heard it like twice, and I thought it was the coolest thing ever because I recognized some of the Nintendo theme songs, like Tiger-Heli.

I like pretty much everything except classical and any of the death metal types of music, they just dont do it for me, but i can appreciate them. The only type of music i truely hate is emo, its ****ing awful, i think people should be jailed for playing or listening to it, pricks.

I have broad interests in music also, not just one. I DO NOT LIKE country, it's all just way to contrived, silly lyrics, ugh.

I can listen to the Fugees (awesome) flip right over to listening to Rammstein, next track might be Offspring, then some SOAD....I use to classify that stuff as "alternative", but not sure really what that means anymore.

What the hell is "Crust" music? Someone mentioned that,

Crust punk (also known as encrusted music or little known as super crusted crusto crust town is the extreme evolution of Hardcore punk. The genre might be considered hard to listen to and very abrasive, using elements of anarcho-punk and grindcore to create a unique sound that can either be fast and leaning to grindcore, or slow and mopey and/or melodic. It was originally called stenchcore. Although not the same genre, crust is closely related to d-beat, anarcho-punk, thrashcore, and grindcore.

Lyrics to crust songs tend to be dark, and based around politics and current events and even some human emotion; topics such as nuclear destruction, environmentalism, racial equality, squatting/non-conformity, apocalypse, abolishing sexism, animal rights, veganism/vegetarianism, religious control, and anarchism are common. Crust is one of the darkest subgenres of punk, and also is one of the least recognizable as punk, in terms of sound. Elements of the crust sound can be heard in many Anarcho-punk bands, such as those signed to Profane Existence, Mortarhate Records, Havoc Records, & Life is Abuse Records.

Many consider the band Amebix to be the godfathers of crust punk, and consider the Arise! LP to be the first known defining crust punk album. The band Deviated Instinct, who actually coined the term "crust punk", was one of the first bands to play the genre as it commonly recognized today.

Listeners of crust punk music are often referred to as "crusties".
