ive got a schumacher xtr3e petrol car but all the enigne settings are out as it either seems to only run lean or rich as anything and smoke like a mofo. what i need to know is when the recommended settings on the carb screws are, for exmaple 1 an 1/4 turns out, is 1 turn so the screw goes 360 degrees round or so it goes 180 degrees round? Its sortof hard to explain so i drew a little diagram...
lol! if anyone gets wot the fuk im talkin about or trying to say please help...

for my t-maxx its standard settings are 3 1/4 turns and my OFNA Mbx standard is 2 3/4
usually it will fire up if you are within 1/2 turn each way, so there are some guide lines.

dont you have like 3 standard settings?? like the idle screw, high speed screw an low speed screw or something....my settings are standard -
idle speed : 0.5mm slide open
low speed : o.4mm below flush
high speed : 1 1/4 turns out

yeah, I was talking about the high speed though, as it is the most commonly adjusted.
