Alright, so I've been taking pictures of everything since I was about 9-10. And I've been stuck with some shitty 1 mega pixel digital camera since then. I really want to invest in a good quality camera though, professional wise. Nothing over let's say..750$ Canadian. I'm on a tight budget.

I've been looking around at the Nikon D50 and the Canon Rebel(not sure which model, just not the 2000$ one.)

I really need help on deciding what company to chose, and just need help with finding a camera. Thanks guys!

the 350D and D50 are the very low ends of DLSR cameras.

i suggest saving up a while longer and going for something better, in the meantime the prices will go down.

waiting sucks, but if you get a 350D you might be dissapointed, my dads 3 year old point and shoot has nearly all the features of the 350D except the interchangable lenses

The Fujifilm series is honestly an awesome camera for about 250$ USD. I have used them on multiple occasions and different ones too and they were just so nicely and for the price, it's incredible. The quality is great and it's just overall a nice camera!-Timg
