Im getting a new bike!!! what kind?

Hello to all, im soon to get a new bike(is christmas soon?) and am interested in a racing/dirt bike. My uncle who owns a bike shop in cali is giving everyone a bike when we go to visit so im wondering what to get. im 5-7/8 and weigh 115 pounds. help me? btw im gonna use it for trail riding. i have dirtbike trails, jumps, etc. that are similar to bmx tracks ive seen if that helps in the reccomendationj.

thanks this seems to be a good website, but to be honest with you i really dont know what to be looking for in a bmx bike. i usually ride dirtbikes

My first question would be what kind of bikes does he sell, what brands I mean( Redline, Haro, Eastern, GT, Specialized, DK) this will help everyone pinpoint a particular brand for you.

If you are going to be dirt jumping or riding trails, I would not go for a full on race bike, or an aluminum framed bike as weight will not be a big factor. If you are jumping and want to do bar spins, you would want a bike that has a gyro. Is cost going to be an issue?

no cost isnt an issue, and to be honest i dont know what brands he has in stock. its a huge store so probably a variety. im just looking for a cupple of brands or models of bikes, or features to look for. so anything of that nature would help me greatly

Looking at what you have to choose from, I would go with one of these two....leaning toward the Felt.

If I were you I'd either get a FELT caliberr pro, FELT sector, or sector XL.
